I bought my tickets online, but I purchased the wrong ticket?

Timed tickets are night and time specific. General Admission and Speedpass tickets can be used on any night when the tickets on sale are the same or lesser priced.  If you come on a night with a ticket that is of a lesser price than the tickets sold for that night, please bring your unused ticket to the information booth when you arrive and you can change the ticket to be valid on the appropriate night. Ticket changes will be subject to a fee equal to the price difference of the two tickets.

What are the hours of operation?

NETHERWORLD often stays open later to accommodate patrons on busy nights but the box office will not close earlier than posted times.

What time does the line start forming?

Early in the season, arriving at opening time is fine, but as we get closer to Halloween the crowds get larger.

How long is the wait in line?

We try to keep the wait time as short as possible but it varies greatly depending on the amount of guests we have that evening. On weekends and the deeper we get into October the lines will be much longer. Buy your tickets online to avoid the box office line and try to come earlier in October or on a weeknight if you would like to avoid the longer lines. You can also purchase Timed Tickets or Speedpasses to have a shorter wait

How long does it take to go through the haunted house?

That depends on many factors. First you must buy your tickets, then wait to enter the haunts. Once you enter, you go through at your own pace so the length of the experience varies from group to group. The main haunt,NIGHT OF THE GORGON, is the longest. To walk through both haunts might take more than an hour, plus time in lines. The lines get longer the closer it gets to Halloween. You may encounter wandering creatures the moment you leave your car, so be on your guard!

If I get there at 10pm and I bought a ticket for both haunted houses, will NETHERWORLD close before I get a chance to see both shows?

We keep the haunted houses running until the last patron has exited. We’ll stop selling tickets, but the shows will keep running.

Can I make a reservation?

You can reserve a time slot with a Timed Ticket. NETHERWORLD General Admission is first come, first served. However, you can avoid the line with a Speedpass.

If I buy tickets online, do I have to use them the same day?

Timed tickets are night and time specific – they are valid for the night and time they were purchased for.

General Admission and Speedpass tickets are valid for any date except days when the same type of tickets have a higher price. They may be upgraded at the INFO BOOTH and then used.

I just bought my ticket online…do I still have to wait in line when I get to the Haunted House?

You are able to skip the often lengthy box office line and go straight to the line to enter the haunted house.  General Admission Tickets have the longest lines generally. Timed Tickets are often the next shortest wait. Speedpasses usually allow  direct acess to the haunt except on busy nights.  After you buy a ticket online, you will receive an email with a ticket to print. You must have this printout with a barcode on it with you or be able to show the barcode on your smart phone to the staff at the entrance.

Is there a way to avoid waiting in line?

Timed Tickets allow you to shorten the time you wait in line. Timed Tickets also have a shorter line at the second Haunt.

Speedpasses usually allow direct acess to the haunt except on busy nights. Speedpass ticket is valid for both haunted houses which will allow you to enter a Speedpass line at both of the haunted houses.

What is a SPEEDPASS and how do I get one?

SPEEDPASSES give you rapid access to both haunted houses. Once you have your SpeedPass ticket you can go straight to the special SpeedPass entrance of each haunt for fast, often immediate access. Please note that you do not have to buy a regular combo ticket in addition to a SpeedPass to enter – the price of a SpeedPass includes admission to both haunts AND also includes rapid entry. Speedpass tickets can be used on any night when the tickets on sale are the same or lesser priced.  If you come on a night with a ticket that is of a lesser price than the tickets sold for that night, please bring your unused ticket to the information booth when you arrive and you can change the ticket to be valid on the appropriate night. NOTE: There is a chance that you may also have the opportunity to purchase SpeedPasses at the Netherworld box office, but please be aware that there are only a very limited number available per night. If the total number of allotted SPEEDPASSES for a given night sells out online you will not be able to purchase one at the box office for that night.

What is a TIMED TICKET and how do I get one?

TIMED TICKET: These are limited quantity medium priced tickets that allow entrance to front of the building at a specific date within a specific 1/2 hour window. The half hour entry window begins at the time listed on the ticket. This is generally a much shorter waiting line than GENERAL ADMISSION. You will enter the building when your time slot arrives then queue through a museum area before experiencing NIGHT OF THE GORGON. After exiting the first Haunt you will make your way through the midway to the Timed Ticket line for our second haunt COLD BLOODED.  They are available online only.

Are the monsters allowed to touch you?

The actors in NETHERWORLD will not touch you. However, they do get very close. Occasionally you may brush up against their costumes or props. You may also come into contact with some of the sets.

Are there any age restrictions?

NETHERWORLD is recommended for adults and teens, but younger kids may come if parents choose to bring them. Minimum age is 5 Years old. Carrying children though is NOT recommended. There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the haunt. There are many emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue. COLD BLOODED is a more gory haunted house.

Where can I find coupons?

NETHERWORLD will occasionally offer special discounts so keep an eye out!

When are coupons valid?

If we offer a coupon be sure to read them carefully to see what days and times they can be used.

NOTE: No coupons are accepted Fridays and Saturdays in October or on Halloween.

Is NETHERWORLD wheelchair accessible?

Yes, but in dark areas, staff assistance will make navigation easier.

Is there a lot of smoke in the haunted house?

We do use fog machines at NETHERWORLD. Should you find the smoke too intense there are emergency exits throughout the attraction .

Are there strobe lights?

Yes, we do use strobe lights occasionally.

Can I go in if I’m pregnant?

NETHERWORLD Haunted House is not recommended for visitors who are pregnant, have heart conditions or are in general poor health.

Is it a ride?

Visitors walk through all the attractions at NETHERWORLD.

Is it dark?

There are very dark areas in both Haunts. .

Is it a maze? Can I get lost?

NETHERWORLD is not a maze. Many areas of the attractions are confusing, but the staff will help you find your way out if necessary.

Can my friends and I wear our Halloween costumes when we come to Netherworld?

No. For safety reasons, we are sorry to say that except for small children, patrons are not permitted to wear costumes.

Are your attractions open if it rains?

Yes! Our haunted houses are inside. The box office line has some inside queuing and the gift shop is inside. The lines to enter COLD BLOODED are outside, but on rainy nights we use tents in those areas. Some of the General Admission line and the Timed Ticket line to enter NIGHT OF THE GORGON is now indoors. You will have to walk from the box office to NIGHT OF THE GORGON though areas without rain protection.

Once we’ve used our ticket can we go through again with the same ticket?

No. A new ticket is required for each visit.

Are there any motels/hotels close to NETHERWORLD and are there any special rates?

Yes, there are few hotels in close proximity to NETHERWORLD  – CLICK HERE and scroll down under the maps and directions for several available discounted hotels.

Do your attractions have security?

Yes. NETHERWORLD uses Gwinnett County Police Officers for our security team. We seldom, if ever, have a problem that actually requires security but we have it just in case.

We also have an off-duty firefighter/EMT on staff each night.

Can we be thrown out of the park for any reason?

Yes. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. We have a list of rules just like anyone else that must be adhered to for your own safety.

Violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and then being asked to leave without a refund.

Do you serve alcoholic beverages?

NO! And they are not allowed on the property, so please do not bring any.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking and Vaping are only allowed in the parking lot. Smoking and Vaping are NOT allowed indoors.

Can we take flash photos of your haunted houses?

NO photography of any sort is allowed in the haunts. Haunted houses are dark and people’s eyes (especially the actors) adjust to the low light. When you flash your camera you’re not only ruining other customers’ experience but you’re hurting the actors’ eyes. Also, the fog used inside the attractions ruins flash photography.

Although no photography or videotaping is allowed inside (including nightshot), the monsters working outside will quite often pose for pictures.

What can’t we bring with us inside your haunted houses?

No pets! No weapons! No alcoholic beverages! No cameras! No smoking! No vaping! No laser pointers or flashlights! No food or beverages!

Do you sell beverages and souvenirs at your attractions?

Yes. We have a large gift shop located in the midway near the exit of NIGHT OF THE GORGON. We sell souvenir t-shirts, hoodies, magnets, coffee mugs, shot glasses, NETHERWORLD soundtrack CDs, vampire fangs and other fun things. Our midway features food trucks, photo ops, games and more.

Are the attractions the same this year?

Is this the haunted house where there are 13 floors and when you get to the top you get your money back?

No, there is no such haunted house.

Can we win free tickets?
