Three years have passed since the events at the BOX that spanned Cold Blooded, Cyborg Shock and Return To Planet X. During this time a deadly Parasitic plant based life form infused with the energies of Planet X grew to powerful unnatural life in one of the discarded husks of the hideous creature known only as The Harvestman stored in the facilities collections.
Unconscious and dormant, it was experimented on and tortured by the twisted scientist known as Otto Gloman, the new chief administrator at the BOX. When an emergency required the Parasite to be awakened and exposed to an elemental seed pod of unknown origin, it gave the bizarre vegetable entity both power and purpose beyond all understanding. The awakened green horror burst from its holding cell, infecting the staff with its parasitic spores, and grew other plant and fungal nightmares to gigantic proportions almost instantaneously. Now freed, it seeks horrible vengeance on its captors as it digs its way from the depths of the BOX into the world of men!
