2007 – NETHERWORLD Haunted House Year 11
2007 featured Leviathan and Primal Fear – This year the upstairs Haunt that had previously been separated into two attractions was merged to create a much larger haunt called Leviathan. The theme was based on the Frankenstein legend with the creation of murderous flesh golems and an insidious plan to attack mankind. Primal Fear was a show encompassing as many of the deepest fears and phobias that one could possibly experience in a haunted house. This was one of the first years that NETHERWORLD was featured on the Travel Channel and it certainly wouldn’t be the last!
His dark masters from the NETHERWORLD hungered to ravage the earth, but that they feared the light of the sun. Even the mightiest inhuman warlords could not survive in daylight, rotting away into stinking slime at the slightest touch of morning’s light.
The Flesh Golems were brought to life! Sent forth to gather more fresh bodies they began to kidnap and kill anyone they could and dig up graves for raw materials. As Halloween approached the SUMMONER’S plan was nearing fruition…The total domination of mankind!

Newly returned to earth after being trapped for 60 years in the NETHERWORLD, Maxmillian Colber, now known as the SUMMONER, lurked in his rotting mansion, hiding from the modern world of man. He knew his dark masters from the NETHERWORLD hungered to ravage the earth, but that they feared the light of the sun. Even the mightiest inhuman warlords could not survive in daylight, rotting away into stinking slime at the slightest touch of morning’s light. Only Hybrids, beings cloaked in some form of earthly flesh could survive for long there, beings like the plant beast known as the HARVESTMAN, the Corpse thing called the COLLECTOR, the Half Human ABOMINATION, and of course himself the SUMMONER, a foul Demon wrapped in the corpulent flesh of brilliant scientist Maxmillian Colber.
Then in a searing wave of pain the masters of the NETHERWORLD gave him the answer! He called his fellow Hybrids to him and together they created THE HADES MACHINE with alien science and foul sorcery. This powerful engine of doom would allow them to capture and hold the Leviathans, elemental spirits that guard the earth.
Plunging deep into the waves, the ABOMINATION returned with Mighty DAGON, Leviathan of Water, and sealed him in a cave below the mansion.
The HARVESTMAN was nearly burned to a cinder, but succeeded in containing the Fire SALAMANDER, Leviathan of Fire, in a cellar beneath the evil tree that gave the Harvestman his malignant power over nature.
Harnessing the thousands of lost souls at his command, the COLLECTOR locked the COLOSSUS, Leviathan of Earth in a granite pit beneath the ancient burial ground on the estate.
Lastly The SUMMONER used his lightning machines to draw down the WENDIGO, Leviathan of Air, and trap it in the old chapel he had converted to a laboratory.
Now with all four Leviathans held on the grounds of the Colber Mansion, the SUMMONER’S plan could be set into motion. The Colber estate had always existed in two worlds at once, a borderland between earth and the NETHERWORLD. Here creatures from both planes could mingle freely, often with bloody results!
The Summoner would build powerful new bodies from stolen corpses, and fill them with inhuman minds from the NETHERWORLD! Held by the power of the THE HADES MACHINE he would then drain the power of the Leviathans and give the creatures life! Sealed in flesh and filled with elemental energy these Flesh Golems would be the army the NETHERWORLD had long craved, deadly beings with evil will able to survive anywhere on earth!
The plan was set into motion and the Flesh Golems were brought to life! Sent forth to gather more fresh bodies they began to kidnap and kill anyone they could and dig up graves for raw materials. Every night more unnatural things were created and the army grew even stronger. As Halloween approached the SUMMONER’S plan was nearing fruition…The total domination of mankind!
