What
are the hours of operation?
Our box office opens at 7pm each evening, and the Haunted Houses opens
soon after. We close at 11pm in September. In October, we close at Midnight
on Friday and Saturday and Halloween and at 11pm on all other nights.
NETHERWORLD often stays open later to accommodate patrons on busy nights
but the box office will not close earlier than posted times. 
What time does the line start forming?
Early in the season, arriving around 7pm is fine, but as we get closer
to Halloween the crowds get larger.
How long is the wait in line?
In general, we try to keep the wait time to under 30 minutes. However,
on the last 2 weekends in October and on Halloween the lines will be much
longer. Buy your tickets online to avoid the box office line and try to
come earlier in October if you would like to avoid the longer lines!
How long does it take to go through the haunted house?
That depends on many factors. First you must buy your tickets, then wait
to enter the haunts. Once you enter, you go through at your own pace so
the length of the experience varies from group to group. The main haunt,
CARNIVORE, is the longest. To walk through both haunts might take an
hour, plus time in lines. The lines get longer the closer it gets to Halloween.
You may encounter wandering creatures the moment you leave your car, so
be on your guard!
If I get there at 10pm and I bought a ticket for both haunted houses,
will the NETHERWORLD close before I get a chance to see both shows?
We keep the haunted houses running until the last patron has exited.
We’ll stop selling tickets, but the shows will keep running.
Can I make a reservation?
No. NETHERWORLD is first come, first served.
What are the prices for the different haunted houses?
You have two ticket options. You can see the main haunt, CARNIVORE for
$18 per person. For $25 per person, you visit both CARNIVORE and MANGLER.
Does NETHERWORLD offer group rates?
Yes, but group ticket sales must be arranged in advance.
Pricing for Groups is as follows:
- 20-49 people: Both haunts for $23 per person
- 50-74 people: Both haunts for $20 per person
- 75 or more: Both haunts for $15 per person
Group ticket sales must be arranged in advance.
Tickets must be purchased in one transaction and then distributed to
the group. To arrange for group tickets, send email to questions@fearworld.com.
Include your name, contact information, date of visit, and size of
group. We will then contact you to make arrangements.
You can also purchase a "Ten Pack" of tickets
online, at the discounted price of $23 per person.

Does Netherworld accept credit cards?
Yes, our box office and gift shop accept Visa and MasterCard.
Can I buy tickets in advance?
You may purchase tickets online through InteractiveTicketing to avoid a crowd at
the box office on busy nights, but you will still have to go to Will Call
to your tickets. Group sales may also be arranged in advance.

I just bought my ticket online…do I still have to wait in line
when I get to the Haunted House?
You are able to skip the often lengthy box office line, but you will
have to go to Will Call to pick up your actual tickets. Once you have
your tickets, you queue for the attractions.
Is there a way to avoid waiting in line?
On select nights, we will have a limited number of Speedpass tickets
available through InteractiveTicketing. For $50 per person you will receive a ticket
valid for both haunted houses plus a wristband which will allow you
to enter a Speedpass line at both of the haunted houses.

What is a SpeedPass and how do I get one?
SpeedPasses give you rapid access to both haunted houses
on peak nights of operation!
Purchase SpeedPasses online and then when you arrive at Netherworld go straight to the Will Call box (avoiding the ticket line) to get your tickets and a special wristband that will move you directly to the front of the line.
NOTE: There is a chance that you may also have the opportunity to purchase SpeedPasses at the Netherworld box office, but please be aware that there are only a very limited number available per night. If the total number of allotted SpeedPasses for a given night sells out online you will not be able to purchase one at the box office for that night.
SpeedPasses are $50 each and include admission to both haunted houses; there are a limited number available for each of the following dates only:
- Friday October 12th
- Saturday October 13th
- Friday October 19th
- Saturday October 20th
- Friday October 26th
- Saturday October 27th
- Wednesday October 31st (Halloween)

Are the monsters allowed to touch you?
The actors in NETHERWORLD will not touch you. However, they do get very
close. Occasionally you may brush up against their costumes or props.
You may also come into contact with some of the sets.
Are there any age restrictions?
NETHERWORLD is recommended for adults and teens, but younger kids may
come if parents choose to bring them. Carrying babies though is NOT recommended.
There are no special prices for children and no refunds if anyone decides
not to finish the haunt. There are many emergency exits throughout each
attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue.
Where can I find coupons?
Coupons are available at all Atlanta area Subway locations and in Creative
Loafing.

When are coupons valid?
There are several types of coupons. Read them carefully to see what days
they can be used.
NOTE: As a general rule, no coupons are accepted Fridays and Saturdays
in late October, or on Halloween.
Is NETHERWORLD wheelchair accessible?
Yes, but in the dark areas of MANGLER, staff assistance will make
navigation easier.
Is there a lot of smoke in the haunted house?
We do use fog machines at NETHERWORLD. Should you find the smoke too
intense there are emergency exits throughout the attraction .
Are there strobe lights?
Yes, we do use strobe lights occasionally.
Can I go in if I'm pregnant?
NETHERWORLD Haunted House is not recommended for visitors who are pregnant,
have heart conditions or are in general poor health.
Is it a ride?
Visitors walk through all the attractions at NETHERWORLD.
Is it dark?
There are very dark areas in CARNIVORE.
Much of MANGLER is extremely dark!
Is it a maze? Can I get lost?
NETHERWORLD is not a maze. Many areas of the attractions are confusing,
but the staff will help you find your way out if necessary.
Can my friends and I wear our Halloween costumes
when we come to Netherworld?
No. For safety reasons, we are sorry to say that except for small children,
patrons are not permitted to wear costumes.
Are your attractions open if it rains?
Yes! Our haunted houses are inside. The area for the box office line
and lines to enter the haunts are outside, but on rainy nights we use
tents in those areas.
Once we've used our ticket can we go through again with the same ticket?
No. A new ticket is required for each visit.
Do you have hotels in your area?
There are several hotels nearby.Most exits along I-85 have hotels, including
Jimmy Carter Blvd., which is the exit for NETHERWORLD.
Do your attractions have security?
Yes. NETHERWORLD uses Gwinnett County Police Officers for our security
team. We seldom, if ever, have a problem that actually requires security
but we have it just in case.
We also have an off-duty firefighter/EMT on staff each night.
Can we be thrown out of the park for any reason?
Yes. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons
of any kind, alcohol, etc. We have a list of rules just like anyone else
that must be adhered to for your own safety.
Violation of these rules will usually bring a warning and then being
asked to leave without a refund.
Can we be injured at your park?
We've never had any serious injuries at any of our attractions in over
10 years of operation. Running is the main cause of minor injuries. Make
sure to follow the rules and DON'T run and you should be fine!
Do you serve alcoholic beverages?
NO! And they are not allowed on the property, so please do not bring
any.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is allowed only in the parking lot. Smoking is NOT allowed indoors.
Can we take flash photos of your haunted houses?
NO photography of any sort is not allowed in the haunts. Haunted houses
are dark and peoples eyes (especially the actors) adjust to the low light.
When you flash your camera you're not only ruining other customers' experience
but you're hurting the actors' eyes. Also, the fog used inside the attractions
ruins flash photography.
Although no photography or videotaping is allowed
inside (including nightshot), the monsters working outside will quite
often pose for pictures.
What can't we bring with us inside your haunted houses?
No pets! No weapons! No alcoholic beverages! No cameras! No smoking!
No laser pointers or flashlights! No food or beverages!
Do you sell beverages and souvenirs at your attractions?
Yes. We sell bottles of water and cans of soda. Our gift
shop sells souvenir t-shirts, coffee mugs, shot glasses, NETHERWORLD soundtrack
CDs, vampire
fangs & other fun things...
Are the attractions the same this year?
The themes of our attractions change dramatically each year.
Expect
new effects, sets, and scares!
Is this the haunted house where there are 13 floors and when you get
to the top you get your money back?
No, there is no such haunted house. However NETHERWORLD is the only haunted
house in the Atlanta area on 2 floors.
Can we win free tickets?
Occasionally, radio stations or sponsors may have free ticket giveaways.
