Hours and Pricing Vary By Night. In 2024 we have reintroduced the “Main Show Only” Ticket. As in pre-pandemic days, you will now have a choice to purchase the Combo Ticket (both haunts) or just the main haunt.
Please click thru to our secure online ticketing portal for times and pricing.

Given the capacity limits related to timed ticketing, if timeslots sell out quickly on a given night, we may add additional timeslots to accommodate demand. Please check back if your preferred date is sold out.

What time does the line start forming?

All tickets sold in 2024 are Timed. Timed Tickets allow you access to the queue lines during a specified half hour entry window. One half hour before your designated timeslot, you may wait in a pre-queue area but it is not recommended that you arrive any earlier than 30 minutes before your designated timeslot. Once you enter the queue line there will be a wait before entering the attractions, but these wait times will be far more predictable than those before timed ticketing was instituted.

How long is the wait in line?

Given that all tickets are now timed and that capacity is limited for each designated timeslot, wait times will likely be shorter than you think. In general, wait times will depend upon the percentage of tickets sold in a given timeslot. If you would like to really expedite your experience, you might want to consider purchasing a SpeedPass which will grant you expedited, often immediate entry.

How long does it take to go through the haunted house?

That depends on many factors. When you arrive with your tickets in hand you will wait to enter the haunts. Once you enter, you go through at your own pace so the length of the experience varies from group to group. The main haunt, WAKE THE DEAD, is the longest. To walk through both haunts might take 45 minutes, plus time in line. Your time in line will vary depending on the percentage of tickets sold during a given timeslot and whether you purchased a regular timed entry ticket or a SpeedPass timed entry ticket.

How Exactly does Timed Ticketing work?

The 30 minute timeslots indicate the time frame that you may enter the main queue line and proceed to the haunted house. So for example, if you are holding a ticket with a 7:30pm-8:00pm timeslot, you may arrive at any time between 7:30pm and 8:00pm and proceed directly to the queue line to enter the main haunted attraction. If you arrive prior to that time, you will be directed to wait in another queue line until your timeslot starts loading. Please know that arriving early will not expedite your entry, and that wait lines can only accommodate those arriving up to one hour before the current loading time…so please do not arrive extra early. For the best experience, please arrive during the half-hour queue line entry window that is printed on your ticket.

What if I miss my timeslot?

If you miss your timeslot and arrive late on the same night that your ticket was issued, we will do our very best to get you into the queue lines at the earliest possible time, but please know, those with a properly timed ticket will always get entry priority. Please arrive on time as we can not guarantee how long your wait will be should you arrive late. Please also know that this only applies to tickets bearing the proper date. There is no way that expired tickets can be scanned once the date on your ticket has passed. There are no refunds, so please choose your ticket wisely. Timed ticketing restricts attendance and once a date passes, we have no way to sell that lost inventory again. Much the same as a concert, theater performance, or a sports game, we can not issue refunds if you purchased a ticket and did not attend.

I’m not able to make it to Netherworld on the time and/or date I originally purchased? Is there a way for my timeslot to be changed?

Ticket changes may be made up to 6-hours in advance of the start time of your scheduled timeslot.  No changes or refunds will be provided for no-show ticket purchases or requests after your scheduled visit since timeslot capacity is limited and we therefore must turn away other guests to secure your spot.  There is no guarantee of availability for changes as you are only guaranteed the date and timeslot you reserved at the time of purchase.  If you would like to reschedule your ticket, please refer back to your original ticket confirmation page, click on the link for tickets and on the top of the page you will see a “Reschedule Your Tickets” button. From here you will be able to reschedule your ticket to a timeslot that is more convenient to you (pending availability).

Should you wish to change your ticket to a more expensive date (for example from a $25 admission night to a $30 admission night) you will be prompted to enter your credit card information to pay the difference.  No refund or credit is given for changes from dates with higher prices to dates with lower prices.  Again, please know that there are No Refunds and changes are only possible up until 6-hours before the start of your existing timeslot. Please also know that tickets cannot be rescheduled if you purchased a ticket and did not attend. Once the date on your ticket has passed, the ticket is expired and no longer valid.

**note: typically speaking, events and attractions that offer customers the ability to make ticket changes (and not all do by any means) cut off this ability 24-hours in advance of scheduled visits and/or charge a fee in order to do so

How much does it cost to park?

Parking is Free. Netherworld is conveniently located just off Exit 9 of HWY 78 in Stone Mountain, GA. Primary parking for the 2022 Haunted House Season is located in the Life Storage parking lot at 2055 West Park Place Boulevard, just across the street from Netherworld. If driving East on HWY 78, take Exit 9 and turn right onto West Park Place Blvd. If driving West on Highway 78, take Exit 9 and keep left onto West Park Place Blvd. The entrance to the Life Storage parking lot will be located on the right, just South of Hwy 78.

Does Netherworld offer group rates?

Given the nature of timed ticketing and the corresponding restricted capacity per timeslot, group sales will be limited. If you have a group of 20 people or more and are able to attend during a specified timeslot, please e-mail groupsales@netherworld.net and we will do our best to accommodate your request. Please note that group sales will be unavailable on certain dates, most specifically weekends in mid-late October, but there may be other group sales blackout dates depending on the calendar for a given year.  Payment for any agreed upon group sale must be made in a single transaction at the Information Booth located next to the entrance to the haunts. All group sales must be arranged in advance. There are no online or walk-up group sales.

Are there any age restrictions to enter?

Netherworld is recommended for adults and teens, but younger kids may come if an accompanying guardian chooses to bring them. Minimum age is 7 Years old. Carrying children through is NOT permitted. There are no special prices for children and there are no refunds if anyone decides not to finish the haunt. It is up to a guardian’s discretion to determine if a child old enough to enter (be it 7 or 17) is ready for a haunted house. Many small kids do great…but on the flip side, some adults have a hard time. Every person is different, so please use good judgement in deciding whether or not you believe a child is up to the challenge or not. There are many emergency exits throughout each attraction in case anyone gets too scared to continue.

Does Netherworld accept credit cards?

Yes, we accept Visa, MasterCard, and Discover.

Can I buy tickets in advance?

Yes. Purchasing tickets online and in advance is highly recommended and the only way to guarantee entry upon your arrival at Netherworld. Walk-up sales are subject to availability. If a timeslot is sold out online, it is also sold out at the Box Office. Online ticket prices (after applicable sales tax and service fees) are roughly the same price as those at the box office, so it is definitely better to purchase in advance to ensure entry upon your arrival.

If I buy tickets online, do I have to use them the same day?

Timed Entry and Speedpass tickets are night and time specific – they are only valid for the night and time they were purchased for.

I just bought my ticket online…do I still have to wait in line when I get to the Haunted House?

Timed Entry Tickets allow entry to the queue line for Primordial on a specific date during a specific timeframe.  Speedpasses grant expedited, often immediate access to the haunt on the designated date/time of your ticket. After you purchase a ticket online, you will receive an email and be able to print out your ticket. You must present this barcoded ticket (printed or on your smartphone) to the staff at the entrance where your ticket will be scanned and you will be granted entry.

Is there a way to avoid waiting in line?

SpeedPasses grant expedited, often immediate entry into the haunts.

SpeedPasses are only available for entry into both haunts (SpeedPass Combo Tickets), they are not available for single haunt entry.

What is a SpeedPass and how do I get one?

SpeedPasses give you rapid access to the haunted house. Once you have your SpeedPass ticket you can go straight to the special SpeedPass entrance of the haunt for fast, often immediate access. Please note that you do not have to buy a regular timed entry ticket in addition to a SpeedPass to enter – the price of a SpeedPass includes admission to both haunts AND also includes expedited entry.  Please note: SpeedPasses are not available for WAKE THE DEAD only (single attraction) entry.

Are the monsters allowed to touch you?

Though there may be some incidental contact, the actors in Netherworld will not touch you.

Can I take pictures?

Yes and No. Be prepared to take lots of picture with roaming characters and at the many free photo ops at Netherworld. Take as many pictures as you wish in the outdoor areas, but please know that there is NO PHOTOGRAPHY OF ANY KIND ALLOWED INSIDE THE HAUNTED HOUSES. Please be sure to put your phones away securely before you enter the attractions. Phones and other belongings are easily lost and often broken inside haunted house environments, so please secure your belongings and focus on enjoying the experience!

Does Netherworld offer a Military or First Responder discount?

Though Netherworld does not offer a nightly military/first responder discount, we do however donate a significant number of tickets each year to the Veteran Tickets Foundation. Please visit www.VetTix.org to learn how to get Free Tickets to a myriad of events and attractions, not just Netherworld Haunted House. Vet Tix provides tickets to all branches of currently-serving Military and Veterans, including immediate family of troops KIA. Additionally, Vet Tix has expanded its outreach and also provides Free Tickets to First responders (currently serving and retired law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMTs, nurses and 911 Dispatchers) through their 1st Tix initiative.

Is Netherworld wheelchair accessible?

Netherworld is accessible to those using wheelchairs or manually-powered mobility aids. Because the attractions include areas that are dark and areas that may cause one to become disoriented, a staff member may be provided to help guide patrons using any of these devices. If Netherworld believes it would be unsafe for anyone using a manually-powered mobility aid (such as a cane or crutches) to navigate the attraction you may be asked to transfer to a wheelchair provided by Netherworld at no additional charge. The same is true if a patron requires use of a wheelchair and arrives using one that is too large to maneuver through the attraction. Motorized scooters and other power driven mobility devices are not permitted in the Netherworld attractions but Netherworld does have wheelchairs for your use at no additional charge for your tour through the attractions.

Netherworld is not a maze but rather a defined path. Areas of the attractions may at times be confusing to some, but staff will help you find your way if necessary.

Can my friends and I wear our Halloween costumes when we come to Netherworld?

No. For safety reasons, we are sorry to say that except for small children, patrons are not permitted to wear costumes.

Are your attractions open if it rains?

Yes. Netherworld is open rain or shine.  Please know that the haunts are for the most part, indoors, but the lines to enter are located outside.  We recommend you bring rain gear if poor weather is in the forecast. Umbrellas one foot long or less when folded are allowed inside the haunted houses when placed in a Netherworld supplied plastic bag.  Umbrellas over one foot may not be brought inside the attractions. There will be a place to deposit your umbrella before you enter the building, but it will not be monitored and you must return to the entrance to reclaim it.  Netherworld is not responsible for umbrellas left in this manner, so it is recommend that you leave umbrellas in excess of one foot in your car or at home.  Inexpensive disposable ponchos will be available on site for purchase. Given the timed nature of admission, if it is raining or rain is in the forecast, it is best to wait in your vehicle until your timeslot begins, thus limiting time spent in the elements.

Once we’ve used our ticket can we go through again with the same ticket?

No. A new ticket is required for each visit.

Yes. We do not allow foul language, pushing, vulgar behavior, weapons of any kind, alcohol, etc. We have a list of rules just like anyone else that must be adhered to for your own safety.

Those in violation of these rules may be asked to modify their behavior or leave the property without a refund.

Is smoking allowed?

Smoking and Vaping are only allowed in designated areas outside. Smoking and Vaping are NOT allowed indoors, in the queue lines or midways.

Can we take flash photos of your haunted houses?

Although no photography or videotaping is allowed inside (including nightshot), the monsters working outside will quite often pose for pictures.

Are the attractions the same this year?

The themes of our attractions change dramatically each year. Expect new effects, sets, and scares!

Is this the haunted house where there are 13 floors and when you get to the top you get your money back?

No, despite what your cousin may have told you…there is no such haunted house.

Can we win free tickets?

Occasionally, radio stations or sponsors may have free ticket giveaways.

Is there anything else fun to do while visiting Netherworld besides the haunts?

In addition to our Monster Midway with photo ops, food options and games, be sure to also check out THE HOUSE OF CREEPS, our Museum of Monsters, Movie Props and The Strange.
